My Guitar Is A Lizard

He oozes with pleasure, slithering out of the swamp

Secretes musk cologne for a moonlight night romp

My guitar is a lizard with fingers that crawl

My guitar is a lizard- listen to his love call:

Ah ah ah! Ah ah ah! Ah ah ah! Ah ah ah!

He’s the feared jungle hunter with the smooth scaly neck

It gobbles up small flies with a red-tongued fork fleck

My guitar is a lizard, making love in the slime

My guitar is a lizard, like the beginning of time

Ah ah ah! Ah ah ah! Ah ah ah! Ah ah ah!

He’s a slippery sex wizard, the females all know

Here comes Miss Liz Lizard, his eyes start to roll

Doesn’t bother to ask her what she’d like to do

Just slops her in mud spray as he runs her right through!

Bop boppity bop bop bop, oh oh oh oh oh

Urp urpity slurp slurp slurp, ah ah ah ah ah

And when the night’s over, my boy- he feels fine

Waddles onto a boulder, dries in the sunshine

My guitar is a lizard (4 times)

Ah ah ah ah ah ah ah ah ah ah ah ah

Ah ah ah ah ah ah ah ah ah ah ah ah

Notes: This song was inspired one day while I was playing my now stolen all-black Carvin V220T guitar. I looked down at the neck of the guitar and it somehow reminded me of a lizard (no, I wasn’t tripping at the time). Since I’m a big fan of  The Doors and Jim Morrison The Lizard King, I tried to make the song sound like a Doors song. I don’t think it sounds anything like The Doors, but hey, I tried! I hope you find it enjoyable anyway!
